I know you’re keenly aware of how bad our schools are. They’re not getting the job done. A change is much needed!
In just a week, on February 7, Albuquerque Public Schools, the largest, most influential school system in New Mexico elects new board members. Four of the 7 seats are up for election.
We can flip the board from progressive, “social justice warrior” control to common-sense Republican control if we try!
Join me over the next week in getting to vote those Republicans who faithfully go to the polls for general elections but historically have stayed home for local elections.
Go to BCGOP.org/VoteLocal to instantly get a list of these Republicans in your neighborhood. Pick 5 and ask them to vote February 7, should you live in APS districts 3, 5, 6 or 7.
If you live in a different district, reach out to your Republican neighbors anyway. There’s another election just around the corner in October you can get a head start on.
FACT: Local elections have razor thin margins. (Republican APS Board member David Robins lost by just 11 votes in 2013!) We can do this if we work together.
